About the event
Sleep problems are common among people experiencing mental health difficulties, yet sleep support is often difficult to access, deliver, or sustain in routine mental health care. In this webinar, we will share findings from phase 1 of the REST-UP project, which explored barriers and facilitators to improving sleep from the perspectives of people with lived experience, mental health professionals, and existing research evidence.
Alongside presenting the findings, we are keen to hear from people working in mental health services about whether the findings reflect their experiences, what they think the priorities should be, and what we should do next. These discussions will help shape the next phase of REST-UP: co-producing adapted sleep support for use in mental health services.
The provisional agenda will include:
An overview of REST-UP
Key findings from Phase 1
Discussion of implications for mental health services
